I have been sewing since I was about 8, making my own clothes, and later, clothes, diapers and blankets for my children. I came up with the idea for my Travel Blankets during a trip out west to visit family, and both kids had blankets dragging along the ground!
I am legally blind due to a condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). It is like looking through a very narrow tunnel- clear in the middle, but nothing on the sides. Because of this, I am still able to continue my many crafts- sewing, crochet, quilting, beading, and recently basket weaving. I am no longer able to drive, and my eyes can no longer pick up the light of stars- those are the two things I miss most.
